Simple Spiced Sautéed Apples

This recipe is great for breakfast, a snack or dessert! It’s incredibly simple, flavourful and satisfying.

Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp Alpha Health Products DME coconut oil
  • 1 tbsp pure maple syrup
  • 1.5 inches fresh ginger, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 2-3 tbsp full fat coconut milk
  • 1 tsp coconut flour
  • 4 small organic apples, medium chopped
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

 

Directions:

Place the coconut oil, maple syrup, vinegar and ginger in a small fry pan
Sauté 5 minutes to soften the ginger
Add coconut milk and continue cooking for 5 minutes
Add apples and sauté until soft
Sprinkle coconut flour on top and mix well
Cook fanother 1-2 minutes
Stir in the lemon juice
