
Simple Spiced Sautéed Apples
This recipe is great for breakfast, a snack or dessert! It’s incredibly simple, flavourful and satisfying.
Ingredients:
- 1 tbsp Alpha Health Products DME coconut oil
- 1 tbsp pure maple syrup
- 1.5 inches fresh ginger, finely chopped
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 2-3 tbsp full fat coconut milk
- 1 tsp coconut flour
- 4 small organic apples, medium chopped
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
Directions:
Place the coconut oil, maple syrup, vinegar and ginger in a small fry pan
Sauté 5 minutes to soften the ginger
Add coconut milk and continue cooking for 5 minutes
Add apples and sauté until soft
Sprinkle coconut flour on top and mix well
Cook fanother 1-2 minutes
Stir in the lemon juice
