Alpha’s Canadian Camelina seeds are sustainably grown and cold pressed on the Canadian Prairies. Camelina oil is very high in essential fatty acids (EFAs) with a ratio of 2:1 omega 3 to omega 6. Camelina oil is ideal for cold food preparation, but can also be used for cooking and baking because of its high smoke point of 390°F (198°C). Camelina’s rich nutty flavour pairs well with Asian cuisine, red meat, legumes, and roasted vegetables. Take by the spoonful to increase your dietary intake of vegetarian EFAs.
